Sugar Baby Allowance Calculator
Estimate a realistic range by state, frequency and arrangement type. Every multiplier is published, and the cost-of-living data comes from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
Monthly range
$1,300 – $3,200
Typically around $2,000
That works out to roughly $275 per meet across 4 meets a month.
A range, not a quote. What you actually agree depends on the two people having the conversation.
How this is calculated
Start from an editorial baseline of $280 per meet, then apply each factor below.
| Factor | Your selection | Multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| Location | the national average | ×1.000 |
| Experience | Established | ×1.00 |
| Lifestyle | Comfortable | ×1.00 |
| Frequency | Weekly | ×1.00 |
| Monthly commitment | Monthly allowance | ×1.80 |
Where the numbers come from
The location adjustment is real data. It uses Regional Price Parities from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (2024 values, released February 2026), which express local price levels as a percentage of the national average. See the source data.
The baseline is editorial. No credible survey of what these arrangements actually pay exists. The figure repeated across the industry traces back to a single 2018 article quoting one platform’s own self-reported statistics. We have anchored our baseline to sit within the ranges those published sources describe, but it is a considered starting point for a negotiation, not a measurement, and not a market rate.
Every multiplier we apply is in the table above. We publish them because a number you cannot check is worth nothing.
Common questions
- How accurate is this calculator?
- It gives a range to start a conversation from, not a market rate. The location adjustment uses published U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis cost-of-living data from 2024, but the underlying baseline is an editorial estimate. No credible survey of what these arrangements actually pay exists. Every multiplier we apply is published on the page so you can judge it yourself.
- What does PPM mean?
- PPM stands for pay per meet: an amount agreed for each time you see each other, rather than a fixed sum each month. It suits arrangements that are irregular or still being figured out, and it is usually higher per meet than the monthly equivalent because it buys no commitment between dates.
- Why is a monthly allowance more than the meets add up to?
- A monthly arrangement buys availability and a degree of exclusivity between the dates, not just the dates themselves. That is why the same number of meets typically costs more as a monthly allowance than as pay per meet.
- How do I actually negotiate this?
- Raise it early, before either of you is invested, and talk about it in terms of what the arrangement includes rather than a bare number. Say what you are looking for, ask what they had in mind, and treat a large gap as useful information rather than something to talk yourself out of.
- Should I ever pay a fee to receive an allowance?
- No. There is no legitimate arrangement in which you send money, gift cards, or bank details in order to receive an allowance. Anyone asking for a clearance fee, activation fee, or verification payment is running a scam, no matter how convincing the rest of the conversation has been.
